2016 SVCC National Chess Day Report

SVCC Natl Chess 12016 National Chess Day Tournament Report On the weekend of October 8th, chess clubs across the United States held gatherings to celebrate National Chess Day. In Winchester, Virginia, fourteen players converged at The Greene Turtle for Swiss style tournament event. After five hours of fantastic competition, two winners emerged: Jake Tarallo (below on right) won overall 1st place and Adriaan Verspoor clinched 2nd.
